Attorney Ethan B. Babb is the founder of Ethan Babb Law Firm, a Melbourne, Florida law firm dedicated to representing individuals throughout the State of Florida in Property Insurance Claims & Disputes and Consumer Protection matters. With more than eight years of litigation experience, Attorney Babb has built a reputation for helping homeowners and consumers protect their legal rights against insurance companies, creditors, debt collectors, and large financial institutions.

Before founding Ethan Babb Law Firm, Attorney Babb practiced law at Lacey Lyons Rezanka from 2020 through 2025, where he concentrated on civil litigation, property insurance claims and disputes, and consumer protection law. During that time, he represented Florida homeowners pursuing insurance benefits after property losses and advocated for consumers in disputes involving debt collection, credit reporting, and other consumer protection issues. In 2025, he established Ethan Babb Law Firm to provide clients with personalized legal representation focused on achieving practical solutions and exceptional client service.

Attorney Babb’s Consumer Protection practice includes representing clients in matters involving unfair debt collection practices, inaccurate credit reporting, identity theft, creditor harassment, and deceptive business practices. He regularly assists clients with claims arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and other state and federal consumer protection laws. His practice includes helping clients address credit reporting errors, unlawful collection activity, unwanted robocalls and text messages, and disputes with financial institutions.

In his Property Insurance Claims & Disputes practice, Attorney Babb represents Florida homeowners with claims involving hurricane damage, water damage, roof damage, plumbing failures, denied insurance claims, underpaid insurance claims, delayed claim payments, and insurance coverage disputes. As a licensed Florida real estate broker, he brings valuable insight into real estate and property-related matters, allowing him to better understand the unique challenges property owners face when dealing with insurance companies.

Attorney Babb earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida before receiving his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. He began his legal career practicing employment law at Arcadier, Biggie & Wood before transitioning into litigation involving property insurance and consumer protection at Lacey Lyons Rezanka.

A proud resident of Brevard County, Attorney Babb is committed to serving his local community while representing clients throughout Florida. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and remains active in the local legal community.
