David M. Bender

Attorney David Bender is an Associate Attorney at Ethan Babb Law Firm, where he represents clients throughout Florida in consumer protection and insurance-related matters. With more than 17 years of legal experience, Attorney Bender has dedicated his career to navigating complex insurance disputes and advocating for individuals facing challenging legal issues. His unique experience representing both insurance companies and claimants provides valuable insight that allows him to effectively protect the interests of his clients.

Attorney Bender earned his Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Georgia State University in 2004 before receiving his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University in 2007. During law school, he worked with in-house counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, gaining valuable experience in workers’ compensation and personal injury matters.

After being admitted to The Florida Bar in 2008, Attorney Bender began his legal career as insurance defense counsel, where he spent seven years representing insurance companies in matters involving personal injury protection (PIP), personal injury, and homeowners’ insurance claims throughout South Florida. This experience provided him with an in-depth understanding of how insurance carriers investigate, evaluate, and defend claims.

In 2015, Attorney Bender relocated to Brevard County, where he spent the next eleven years representing medical providers in disputes against insurance companies involving personal injury protection (PIP) benefits. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive litigation experience while helping clients navigate complex insurance laws and advocating for fair outcomes.

Today, Attorney Bender brings that breadth of experience to Ethan Babb Law Firm, where he is committed to protecting the rights of consumers and providing practical, results-oriented legal representation. He understands that legal disputes can be overwhelming and believes every client deserves an attorney who communicates clearly, listens carefully, and works tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome.

Attorney Bender’s decision to become an attorney was inspired by firsthand experience. He witnessed the positive impact that a dedicated attorney could have during one of the most difficult times in a person’s life. That experience demonstrated the importance of having an advocate who understands the law, protects a client’s rights, and provides guidance through challenging legal situations. It inspired him to pursue a career focused on helping others through difficult times.

Outside of the office, Attorney Bender enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys watching baseball, football, and soccer and volunteers as a coach at his children’s school, where he enjoys mentoring young athletes and giving back to his community.
